As explained in last night's Sunday Puzzle Warm-Up, now that the race for the Democratic presidential nomination is pretty much decided the gremlins will be using the puzzles to spotlight their 4 top picks for the VP slot. Last night featured their # 1 pick; tonight features their # 2 pick; next week's Warm-Up diary will feature their # 3 pick; they'll take a break next week for potluck Sunday but return the week after with their # 4 pick in the Warm-Up diary and a bonus puzzle in the regular Sunday Puzzle, the challenge of figuring out what it is these four VP picks have in common which will help Sanders in the presidential race if he selects one of them.
I know Kos asked that we wait another month, until after the California primary, before engaging in this kind of discussion. But the gremlins were very insistent on being allowed to post their picks early and I gave in. Hopefully this won't cause any problems.
